TEE TAIWAN comes from knowing what it feels like to be Taiwanese away from Taiwan.

Before TEE TAIWAN, we created Play Tee while living in Taiwan. As Taiwanese who had also lived abroad, we wanted to turn the pride we feel in Taiwan — and the special connection Taiwanese people often feel with one another overseas — into something people could wear.

Play Tee became popular in Taiwan and taught us that a T-shirt can carry more than a design. It can carry memories, humor, identity, and that familiar feeling of home.

After about ten years living in Taiwan, our family moved abroad again. From a distance, the little things started to mean even more — bubble tea, baseball, 台語, 藍白拖, 茄芝袋, the food, the jokes, and the everyday details that instantly remind us of Taiwan.

That felt like the right time to take what we learned and build TEE TAIWAN for a wider community.

For Taiwanese abroad — in the U.S., Canada, Australia, the U.K., Japan, New Zealand, and wherever life takes you.

TEE TAIWAN is for people growing up between cultures, people who miss the little things about home, and anyone who genuinely loves Taiwan.

We make shirts inspired by the Taiwan we know, miss, laugh about, and carry with us wherever we live.
